Back in the Centre of the island. Part 3: Volcano

Darkness we ascended to mount Batur (around the eponymous Lake in the past our journey we swept).

Closer to the top we got into dense fog:

and having the review area we a minute later started to feel cold at all dressed up as the winds and rain neproduvaemye:

The most authentic tourist: himself in the wetsuit, in one hand the camera, in another mug of hot tea, and on the face of a shadow of sadness!

Met dawn above the clouds:

Have walked the crater (warm air coming out of the crevices in the walls):

Gray hands warm Earth

Wet steam cave and warmed the whole company frozen tourists

Then walked to the other craters

Neighbouring small craters

Reached the place, where heat is closest to the surface. There we have dug raw eggs:

and through the 10 they had already had breakfast: cooked. After what went down:

Somewhere in the middle of the descent saw the White Ribbon, lying across the:

The guide told us, that is just before us one of the feasts of the inhabitants of the northern villages of the opoâsali mount Batur ûeloj tape.

On the way back to visit Besakih Mother Temple (Besakih Mother Temple) at the foot of the highest point of the island – the volcano Agung. At the entrance we took 50 p per person and warned, Today they have the ceremony. Our driver warned us about extortion, that is practiced. Went to the temple, We took in sarongs (without them, you cannot, even in long pants). A little further on us someone is called to the table and to the magazine, asking to make donations in a hundred dollars. We have been warned and firmly refused to. On the way to the temple, we have repeatedly offered to buy gifts for ceremonies, politely refused to. Coming up close to the stairs, We were greeted by the servants, that stood in our way, referring to the ceremony. We didn't expect such a reception, because. the most interesting thing on the outside was not available for the eyes. A few minutes later, one of the natives, called us and requested a inside along with a security guard of the temple for 50 p, said, that guide (that, too, can hold inside) will cost us 400r. We are surprised by this approach to the case: from religious reasons we are not allowed to visit the temple during the ceremony and immediately after paying a bribe we can pass. We decided not to go over them, and departed from the temple, inhospitable landscapes.
